Get the party started with a bottle of luxury vodka from our Selfridges cellar. This beloved spirit gets its name from a Russian play on words, which translates as 'an improvement on water' – and we can't argue with that. It's no surprise that it's the country's national drink, as well as that of Poland. 

While many of our premium vodkas share the same crystal-clear look, their tastes vary because of the different grains used to make them. Choose a corn-based option for its honeyed, buttery notes. Wheat vodkas tend to have a slightly sweet, caramel-like flavour. After a nuttier sensation on the palate? Go for a barley-brewed dram using grain grown by only a handful of Polish farms. Refining is key to a superior taste-bud experience too: many of our choices are triple filtered for a superbly smooth quality.

With your own drinks cabinet organised, it's time to pick a vodka gift to take along to the next soirée.
