• Introduced by Edwin Land at a company meeting in 1972, when he pulled it out of his pocket and proceeded to take five photos in ten seconds, Polaroid SX-70 was the first instant SLR camera ever created. Individually refurbished by the hands of a dedicated specialist at Polaroid Originals, this version was released a few years after the original – retaining the foldable design but updated with Polaroid’s patented Sonar Autofocus, which made it the world’s first autofocus SLR camera ever built.
