Despite its platinum-hued bottle, this limited-edition Blanc de Blancs en Magnum champagne from Ace of Spades may as well be liquid gold. Disgorged on 25th May 2016, it’s an artful blend of 2005, 2006 and 2008 vintages of Chardonnay grapes. Expect notes of baked pastry, pineapple, orange blossom and almond that Armand de Brignac’s winemaker, Emilien Boutillat, recommends pairing with freshly shucked oysters.
