Junghans has long been ahead of its time. Erhard Junghans founded the brand in 1861 in Schramberg, Germany. The watch company is steeped in a history of innovation; it created the world’s largest clock factory in 1903 and began to produce wristwatches in 1927 – but the story didn’t stop there. In 1990, Junghans released the first radio-controlled watch and to this day the brand continues to be seen as an icon in the world of watchmaking.
