It’s all about excess at Philipp Plein. The German designer’s eponymous label doesn’t hold back on elaborate details, even when it comes to more casually-inclined realms. Arming the classic running shoe silhouette with a statement cut-out midsole and naming it the Sniper, these trainers work the approach into the Plein Sport collection. Evoking animal stripes, the rubber-detailed upper is reinforced with side straps that attach to the laces.
