With iconic silhouettes like the Chuck Taylor All Star and One Star, you can rely on women's Converse to update your shoe collection. Founded in 1908 in Massachusetts by Mr Marquis Mills Converse, the Converse Rubber Company started out making an array of products before evolving into creating the rubber-soled basketball shoes we know so well today.

There's a variety of styles, including the classic Converse women's high tops, complete with the signature rubber toe cap and logo emblem stamped on the side. The durable canvas outers come in a reliable palette of white, black and khaki. There are fun options, too, such as pastel shades, floral painted designs and embroidered embellishments. The appearance of each pair might differ, but they all share the brand's trusty elements that originally popularised the shoe. These include the supportive internal heel patch, the metal eyelets to encourage airflow and the diamond sole grip. Low tops follow the same formula, with wearable colours, contrast stitching and a retro look.
