It was amid the antics and excess of 1921 that Coco Chanel first summoned her inimitable N°5 perfume, imagining a scent that was as crafted as a couture gown scattered in a constellation of sequins, but as frivolous as the flapper girls dancing on the tabletops of courteous jazz clubs. Now, this little bottle of stardust drapes from the chain of this vintage Chanel belt, sourced by curator Susan Caplan. Cast in glistening gold-plated metal, it’s draped with a double curb chain and engraved with the label’s lettering along the charm.
