Jonathan Adler

Celebrating all things colourful and light-hearted, Jonathan Adler launched his home decor collection in 1993 with a focus on his first passion: pottery. The American designer had discovered the joy of clay-throwing at a summer camp at age twelve, and the beauty of moulding a substance into something unique stayed with him.

The Jonathan Adler accessories collection has since expanded to encompass all the things you need to make a house a home. Expect fun patterned throws, unusually shaped porcelain vases and playful takes on kitchen necessities. The technicoloured offering brings a tongue-in-cheek attitude to homeware, incorporating mischievous motifs from sources as wide-ranging as anatomy, food and the animal kingdom.

Adler also takes inspiration from famous figures in American art history – from movements such as modernism and surrealism – to create eye-catching pieces that your visitors are likely to look twice at. Jonathan Adler home décor is full of surprises; as you look through, its products will likely capture your imagination and lift your spirits. Enjoy a bit of friendly competition? Invite your friends over for a night of Jonathan Adler games. The revived board game classics come in artfully designed lacquered boxes, decorated with familiar Adler shapes and patterns.
