In his couture runways for
Maison Margiela, John Galliano has so far suggested where sleeves might be on outerwear, cuts men’s suits on the bias and created garments that are nothing but seams. Filtered into this season’s knitwear, his irreverent approach translates more subtly to this turtleneck jumper dress, which is spun from a fuzzy mohair blend. Dropped shoulders and too-long sleeves are what skew the proportions.
