Alongside the tiny hamlet of
Neudorf, founded by German settlers in 1842, Tim and Judy Finn planted their first vines in 1978. The vines spill down a gentle north-facing slope overlooking the Moutere Valley on
New Zealand's South Island. This is a dry and "serious"
Sauvignon Blanc, with notes of kaffir lime, lemon grass, guava and mango, supported by fresh herbal character and a touch of grass on the finish.
