Work It - Artroom

The Art Room uses art as therapy to unlock the inherent potential of society's most vulnerable children.

The Art Room uses art as therapy to unlock the inherent potential of society's most vulnerable children.

Across schools in Oxfordshire, Edinburgh and London, The Art Room has demonstrated that in a caring and creative environment even children experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties can 'learn and achieve through art'.

As part of our Work It events programme, the team will be hosting a series of interactive workshops, inviting families to experience how creative processes can help all of us to feel more empowered.

Re-Work It Installation

In the Selfridges London central atrium you will find ‘Re-Work It': an installation of iconic chairs curated by Fair & Co. Over 90 chairs have been transformed by leading artists, architects, designers and key figures from the fashion industry such as Paul Smith, Cara Delevingne and Yinka Shonibare MBE.

The chairs will be sold in aid of The Art Room through online auctioneers Paddle 8 from 22 May until 9 June. Visit: www.paddle8.com/TheArtRoom to bid.
