The result of one of
Bruichladdich’s many experimental drams, the Octomore range is named after James Brown’s farm above Port Charlotte. Just 52 tonnes of Islay barley is malted to produce this 9.3 edition, before it’s matured for five years. Taken from one of only 134 casks, it’s a limited edition run that’s heavily peated with a wild flavour dominated by heather wildfire, golden syrup and lemon on the nose, with sea spray and pear on the palate.
