When Vincent Van Gogh professed “I paint my dreams,” it may seem he was alluding to the silvery moon that sails through his starry skies or the amber blazes that shade his sunflowers like flames, but we think it’s equally possible it was this humble vase of Irises that occupied the artist’s nocturnal reveries. Handcrafted from wool and silk, this clutch from Olympia Le-Tan is embroidered with Van Gogh’s seminal 1889 artwork and sculpted to the label’s poetic book-shaped silhouette – the first chapter opens in Provence.
