In 1961,
Junghans invited Max Bill, a Bauhaus-educated artist, architect and product designer from Switzerland, to design a range of watches. The ensuing collection was such a success for the German watch manufacturer that they are still in production today. Designed for clarity and precision, the watch dial with is detailed only with second markers, indices and a date window. A smooth leather strap completes this fine timepiece.
