The Rosé Saint Marie gin might have been distilled in Salcombe Gin’s Devon home, but its name derives from the lighthouse that marks the entrance to Marseille’s port. Why? Because that’s where Salcombe Fruit Schooners would collect citrus fruits and herbs destined for England onto their ships. Swirling with fresh lemon peel, Provencal herbs, red fruits and the scent of white flowers, its flavour is inspired by the aromas of the South of France. Now all we need is a view of the Med.
