The Wolseley points out that florentines are ‘universally regarded as the epitome of an indulgent biscuit’. You won’t hear us arguing, the historic London café’s own salted caramel versions are decidedly decadent. Handmade in Dorset with flaked almonds, hazelnuts, sultanas, citrus peel and stem ginger, each chewy, crunchy treat is dipped in caramel chocolate. We like to wash them down with the brand’s cafetière coffee.
