Hungary is principally famous for the production of Tokaji, the lusciously sweet white wine, but there are also some fantastic
red wines produced there.
Bull's Blood is perhaps the most famous, made from local grape variety Kefrankos. This example, made by talented young winemaker János György also features Merlot and Blauburgunder, making for a full bodied, rich wine with tar tinged dark fruit and lick of vanilla oak.
