Opening in 1861,
Charles Krug – the father of Napa Valley winemaking – established the first vineyard. Fast forward a century and a few decades, and the current Mondavi family have been crafting and perfecting cabernet sauvignons like this one. Carrying notes of ripe black fruit, the estate-bottled wine has a backdrop of oak that gives it a velvety finish. A medium-bodied offering, it's an excellent option to bring out for guests alongside a charcuterie board.
