With a passion for timepieces, 22-year-old Georges Favre-Jacot founded the brand in 1865, giving rise to the first integrated watch manufacturing in Switzerland. By bringing all of the required craftsmen together under one roof, the young innovator was able to speed up production and smooth out its kinks. In the early 20th century he had a staggering 2000 workers collaborating on his revolutionary Swiss watchmaking site.

The piece that put the company on the world's stage is undoubtedly the Zenith El Primero – a watch you can still find in our collection today. Its launch in 1969 signified the first high-frequency automatic chronograph movement, offering unrivalled accuracy powered simply by the movement of the wearer. Contemporary iterations use this same technology, along with subdials and second counters to keep you in control of every moment.
