How to master the Selfridges Sale
The time is upon us, dear friends, when we must grab a coffee, strategise and research in prep for the sale of all sales. Yes, the Selfridges Sale is ready for you; now here’s how you in-store shoppers can make it the best you have ever had.
Tip #1: plan your route
Getting to the items you’ve been waiting to shop in the sale first is all about the planning. Our top tip? Get there early for shoes and accessories as these go first.
If you’re shopping in London, enter the Selfridges Corner Shop doors on Oxford Street or our new entrance on Duke Street for accessories; for shoes, head to the rear entrance on Duke Street (shoe-lover elation is then just a few escalator rides away). Take a look at our latest store guides to work out your action plan.

Tip #2: click, collect & carry on
Make more time to enjoy your visit by shopping online and then picking your items up in any of our four stores. With our Click & Collect service you can shop here at selfridges.com and then pick up your items at a time that suits you. (Top tip: the Selfridges Car Park in London is free for the first 30 minutes.) It’s the perfect way of securing your sale items and enjoying the atmosphere without the need to ‘rail surf’ in store. And relax...
Tip #3: make a meal of it
What better way to unwind and raise a self-congratulatory toast to your sale bargains (us smug? Never!) than in our wide range of restaurants, bars and cafés. Reserve your table now at the alto Rooftop Ristorante in London for great alfresco dining (and the best truffle ravioli we've ever had), or our San Carlo Italian restaurants in Birmingham and Manchester Exchange Square. Order a glass of champagne, a delicious meal and you’ll feel like a million dollars (even if everything you bought was more like £500,000 after 50% off).
Tip #4: see what’s new
When everyone’s attention is diverted by the sale, we say swoop in on the new-season collections.
Apart from that, Sale is also a great time to discover the new in-store destinations we’ve created, from the amazing new Duke Street entrance leading into our Accessories Hall at Selfridges London to the new Shoe Galleries space in Birmingham and our fantastic new Beauty Hall in Selfridges Trafford, completing later this year.
Tip #5: let us make it easy (and fun)
From pampering beauty treatments, including luxury hair salons across all our stores and the Cowshed Spa in London, to handy services such as letting us carry all your bags to your car or having your items delivered straight to your home (both available at Customer Services in all stores) – we’re here to make your day memorable for all the right reasons. Oh, and if you’re curious to know what the rest of the year will bring, we even have our own in-store psychics at Selfridges London: The Psychic Sisters.
