    "Rino Sottimano and his family work a 16ha estate in Barbaresco, producing fabulous Piemontese wines. His reference point is Burgundy, so several of his wines bare the name of a ""cru"" or the vineyard from which the wine is made. This comes from young vines the vineyard of Basarin, which is why it is not bottled as a ""full"" Barbaresco. Showing lovely liquorice, mint and dark fruit flavours, with lovely tannic structure.
