Self Discoveries: five things you don’t want to miss this week at Selfridges
Welcome to Self Discoveries – our round-up of extraordinary happenings across Selfridges’ four stores. This week, discover our latest Parisian style crush Sézane at Selfridges London and fully immerse yourself in our State of The Arts campaign with a visit to our gallery of works in the Selfridges windows.
Discover our latest French style crush: Sézane – Selfridges London
The first French brand born fully online, Sézane has garnered a worldwide following for its commitment to sustainability and quality, not to mention its effortlessly cool-girl style. Launching in Selfridges London on March 3 in the Denim Studio on 3 (in store only), this is your chance to view the label’s vibrant SS19 collection in person. What’s more, you can get your new Sézane purchases embroidered between 1pm and 5pm on 3, 9 and 16 March. J’adore!
Visit ‘The Peel Good Bar’ by Murad – Selfridges Manchester Trafford
Winter got you (and your skin) down? Then Murad, a science-based brand from Los Angeles, will get you (and your skin) glowing again with its expert skincare based on innovative high-performance technologies and formulas. Also, it’s launching The Peel Good Bar where you can choose from different facial peels based on your unique skin needs. Visit us in the Beauty Hall on Lower Level to book.
Get ready for a Pancake Day like no other – Selfridges London
Pancake Day is (finally) upon us, so grab your frying pans and get ready to cook up some delicious masterpieces. But, if you’d rather have someone else do the dirty work (our pancake flipping skills don’t exactly make for a clean kitchen), then read on. At Selfridges London you can enjoy pancakes American-style with maple syrup, butter and bacon at Hemsley + Hemsley Café, or head to Selfridges Kitchen to discover a full range of both sweet and savory crepes. Ready, steady, flip!
Discover our art-filled windows – all stores
It’s not too late to see our latest windows (in line with our State of The Arts campaign) and discover all the intriguing artists we’ve collaborated with. From emerging talent courtesy of Manchester School of Art for our Trafford and Exchange Square windows to new work from Yayoi Kusama and Darren Almond in London. If you’re lucky, you’ll even be able to pick up a couple of tickets for our very exciting window tour in London on 2 March, run by by boundary-breaking art collective CommuneEAST. Learn all about the artists and enjoy champagne and canapés en route. Sign us up!
Be immortalised in art – Selfridges Manchester Exchange Square
Our State of The Arts campaign is still going strong and we have even more exclusive events coming up in Manchester Exchange Square. Head in store from 1–3 March to meet our talented illustrators and receive your very own complimentary illustrated portrait – just the thing to fill that blank space on your living room wall. Yes: the art selfie is officially a thing.
