Salcheto as a company was only founded in 1984. Led by Michele Manelli – whose energy and enthusiasm is frightening – they have established themselves as one of the premium producers in the region. Their belief in the soil, traditional local varietals and quality has allowed them to produce wines that are a real expression of the region.   Cherries and red berry fruits dominate the nose and palate with elegant creamy fruit on the finish.
