Like GlenDronach, BenRiach was mainly a distillery used by the key blenders over the years, but today it is building a strong reputation for its single malts. The 15 year old is aged in Pedro Ximenez barrels and carries the raisined, treacle notes that the sherry influence gives. On the palate there are lots of sweet apricot, plummy notes.
