Bunnahabain is the most northerly distillery on Islay and is an un-peated malt established in 1881. They use their own natural spring water that has run clear for over one hundred years.  The 18 year old is 100 per cent Oloroso casks and the fruit cake, Christmas spice really shows through in the whisky, roasted nuts and leather also appear on the palate which has a lovely richness.
