This Moristel wine from Bodegas Pirineos is velvety and delicious, with notes of blueberries, black cherry and chocolate. Moristel is an ancient, indigenous mountain grape variety that grows only in small, scattered plots throughout the Pyrenees. Bodegas Pirineos controls over 90% of the fruit-producing Moristel vines in the world. The Somontano wine region is located in the ancient Aragonés kingdom, an isolated region within a protected amphitheatre at the base of the Pyrenees mountains in northern Spain.
