Winemaking in Japan began about 120 years ago and the most important variety in Japan is Koshu, which is elegant, delicate and reminiscent of a very well made Pinot Grigio in style. Grace Winery, was started in 1923 in Katsunuma in the Yamanashi district 200km southwest of Tokyo in the shadows of Mount Fuji. It has become known for the high quality of its wines in Japan and now abroad. Try this with sushi or any delicate dishes and you will be pleasantly surprised.
