Cantina Trexenta – a co–operative founded in 1956 by 23 vine–growers from different Trexenta Communes – is situated in the hillsides above Cagliari, in the southern part of Sardinia. They specialize in Vermentino and Cannonau, two varieties that are very much at home on this island. This Vermentino has a creaminess to it and notes of wild herbs.
