The little barn owl is a cute, mouth–blown glass piece created by Finnish designer Oiva Toikka for Copenhagen homeware firm Iittala. The owl's rounded body gives the impression it is perched wherever it is placed. Something of a maverick among Nordic craftspeople, birds are Toikka's specialty and this sweet little ornament makes a unique gift – the collection is also popular with collectors as each item is engraved with his signature as proof of authenticity.
