La Boite Concept has given the LD 120 an update with LD 130, adding extra width so it can function as a desk. Created by Parisian electro-acoustic specialists La Boite Concept, the LD 130 combines stylish design with clever functionality and incredible sound quality. Simply connect the USB cable to your laptop to operate the whole unit. The built-in USB DAC sound converter provides hi-fi audio quality. The LD 130 is also equipped with two auxiliary inputs that allow you to plug in your iPhone, iPod or smartphone. With a single plug to power both your laptop, iPhone and the unit itself, you won't have to worry about messy cords and multi-plugs.

Wide Stereo Sound: The challenge of combining
high-fidelity sound with a one piece unit
The exclusive Wide Stereo Sound system enlarges the stereo field in order to let people enjoy a great quality of sound wherever they are located in their room. Phase coordinated loudspeakers are focused upwards with a 45° angle and are located at the rear part of the system. When you are standing at a short distance of the system or sitting in front of it, you can keep a clear and stereophonic sound at any level.

Exclusive drivers
The six speakers have been developed exclusively for this cabinet. The special shape of the aluminium speaker baskets and the internal design of our acoustic speaker systems have been designed in order to get an optimum air flow and a good behaviour with a very long and controlled excursion of the moving parts. We use both silk and cellulose pulp in order to improve the time response of the cones, according to each frequency range involved.

Multi-amplification for power and sound quality in a compact format
The compact LD 120 achieves the power and quality of much larger speaker systems. The system's active crossover produces a controlled sound balance and the drivers can be used according to their full capacity.

MAC and PC USB hi-fi soundcard inside
The sound quality of laptops and computers is very random. The DAC (digital to analogue converter) BURR BROWN included in the LD 120 uses top-of-the-range CD decks technology that optimises your computer's sound and re-samples the data. The USB sound plug directly converts your music to keep the quality of the original sound signal intact.

Playing your iPod / iPhone with the Sendstation pin system
The PocketDock Line Out Mini USB allows you to easily connect yourself to your LD 120 with a crystal clear, pristine audio quality. Line Out and USB can be used both separately and at the same time, allowing you to charge the battery while enjoying hi-fi quality audio in the same time.

Your multimedia equipment in a single plug
The LD 120 not only lets you connect your computer via a USB socket, but also accommodates and recharges all your music players such as iPhones, iPods and smartphones via two auxiliary inputs.

Piano and natural leather
The desk features a sleek 8-layer piano lacquer finish and a natural leather desk pad. For optimal use of your computer, the natural leather desk pad is insulated against vibration from the sub-woofer.

An environmentally friendly product
The LD 120 features a low consumption mode that is triggered automatically after 15 minutes without music. It uses less than one watt of power when on standby. The materials used in making these products (MDF and aluminium) are very widely recyclable.
