This ornate dinnerware pattern from Wedgwood was inspired by decorative motifs used by Scottish neoclassical architect and designer Robert Adam, who we also know as responsible for the beautiful Pulteny Bridge of Georgian Bath. This plate is rendered in the bold Wedgwood blue finish of the period, and decorated simply to contrast with the intricate gilded detailing of other items in the range. With its neoclassical laurel border and navy rendering this plate remains classic and elegant, helping to make any meal an occasion.
