Dispatch and delivery

Standard delivery

Standard delivery to most UK postcodes takes three to five working days. Please allow longer for Shetland and Orkney (up to ten working days) and for the Scottish Highlands and Western Isles (up to six working days).

Most parcels will be delivered by carrier and will require a signature on delivery. If you are out when the carrier attempts to deliver your parcel, they will leave a card with a contact number for you to arrange a new delivery date.

If a parcel is small enough to fit through a letterbox, it may be delivered by Royal Mail, which will not require a signature.

Standard delivery costs £4.95 per order.

Nominated day delivery

You can choose a delivery date with our nominated day delivery service Monday to Saturday, including next day delivery (if you place your order by 6pm Monday to Friday). For certain products, you may be given the option to choose a time window on your selected date: morning, afternoon or evening, or even between school runs.

We are sorry but standard delivery is not available to the Channel Islands and the nominated day delivery service is not available to the Scottish Highlands and Western Isles, Oban, Aberdeen, Inverness, Shetland, Orkney, the Scilly Isles and the Isle of Man.

We do offer nominated day delivery to Northern Ireland for certain products, but you will not be able to choose a time window.

  • Nominated day delivery is charged at £8.00.
  • Nominated day delivery (Saturday/timed delivery) is charged at £9.50.
  • Nominated day delivery before 10am is charged at £12.

Please note that bank holidays are non-working days.

Same day delivery

We offer a same day service for selected postcodes if you place your order by 4pm. If your postcode is eligible for same day delivery, you will be offered this service at checkout.

Deliveries will be made between 7 and 10pm. Same day delivery is charge at £16.

Shipping to multiple addresses

You can have goods from the same order shipped to multiple addresses. Select this option at checkout and click on the ‘Edit’ buttons in your shopping basket to arrange an address for each item.

Please note that if you select multiple delivery addresses, the delivery charge will be applied to each delivery.

International shipping

We are sorry but we do not deliver online orders outside the UK. You can, however, place a telephone order to the store for international delivery. Call our Customer Services team on +44 113 369 8040. Please note that Selfridges is not responsible for customs duty, clearance charges, and port handling and/or delivery charges from the port of entry.

Supplier dispatch and delivery

Please note that some items such as flowers and furniture are shipped directly from the supplier. You will be given specific delivery options for these items when you order. Please see specific supplier delivery information below.

Technical goods

Technical goods are shipped directly from the supplier. You will be given specific delivery options for these items when you order depending on the price of your order.

The delivery costs are:

  • £1001 and over

    FREE

Delivery is within three working days.

Flowers

We will send out goods according to the delivery day selected. We reserve the right to substitute flowers or foliage to the value of the order placed if we do not have the exact flowers or foliage in stock.

Our goods are sent out by courier on a signature optional delivery. This means that the flowers can be left on the property (porch or step) or with a neighbour if there is nobody home to accept delivery. If nobody is at home, the flowers will be taken back to the delivery depot and the recipient will be left a card asking them to call to arrange redelivery.

The products will be at your risk from the time of delivery.

We do not accept any liability for delayed deliveries caused by any third party or by fire, flood or mechanical breakdown. We do not accept any liability for incorrect postcodes or house names or numbers leading to deliveries to incorrect addresses.

We can deliver to most UK postcodes but there are exceptions in the Highlands and Islands. We are currently unable to deliver to the following postcodes or areas:

You can choose a delivery date with our nominated day delivery service, 8am-6pm, Tuesday to Friday or 8am-1pm on Saturday, including next day delivery if you place your order by 2.30pm.

Nominated day delivery is charged at £8.

Saturday morning delivery is charged at £15.
