Refunds and returns

When you tear open that Selfridges packaging, we want you to be thrilled with what’s inside – so if you’re not, we will be happy to offer a refund.

How to make a return

You can return goods to Selfridges online or to any of our stores free of charge within 14 days of delivery*. Please make sure that anything you would like to return is unused, in a saleable condition, with any labels still attached and in its original packaging. Please see our Returns Policy for more details.

If you have a Selfridges account, please log in, go to My Orders and select the items for return. We will then authorise a return depending on whether the item is eligible for return by post or carrier.

If you don’t have a Selfridges account and you ordered through our guest checkout then you can request a refund through customer services. Please call 0800 123 400 or email customerservices@selfridges.com and someone will be happy to help.

Postal return

If the item is eligible for postal return, we will provide a postage label for you. Print this out, attach it to your parcel and take it to the Post Office. You will need to post it back within seven days of the return being authorised. Please make sure that you obtain proof of posting as we will not be held responsible for any lost or damaged item and we reserve the right to charge you for any such lost or damaged item.

Carrier collection

If the item is to be returned by carrier, you will be able to select a collection date up to seven days in advance. If you are not in when our carriers come to collect your parcel, please contact Customer Services on 0800 123 400 to arrange an alternative date for collection.

Refunds

Once we have accepted your returned items, we will reimburse the price you paid to your original credit or debit card or e-voucher.

*Please note that some things cannot be returned – items such as cosmetics, flowers and hampers, for example, either because they are perishable or for hygiene reasons. Personalised items are also non-returnable. See our Terms and Conditions for a longer (but non-exhaustive) list.

Refunds and returns

The Real Flower Company returns

We guarantee our bouquets for five days from delivery provided that the care instructions are followed. We endeavour to dispatch all of our flowers in perfect condition. In the unlikely event that your flowers have been damaged in transit please keep the flowers and contact us within 24 hours of receipt. We cannot be liable for claims reported outside of this time. Where possible we will offer to replace the damaged flowers. However if this is not possible we will offer a full refund to the purchaser.

Apple returns

  • If there is a fault found with a product within 28 days we will offer the choice of an exchange or a refund, once our testing has confirmed the fault. Item(s) will be picked up from the customer based in the UK and brought back to Square’s offices for testing. Items should be returned complete with the original box, packaging and accessories. Any ‘free gifts’ received with the product must also be returned. This guarantee does not cover faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear.
  • SOFTWARE purchases: All software is licensed to the customer on the terms and conditions of the applicable license agreements. These license agreements are shipped with the software. The customer is responsible for ensuring that any software ordered is suitable for their requirements and is compatible their your existing systems. We regret that we are unable to refund monies for an opened and installed software package unless it is faulty. If the software is still in its plastic wrapping and not tampered with, we will be able to take it back and refund.
