Amarone is a style of wine from the Veneto region in northern Italy. The three red grapes, Rondinella, Molinara and Corvina are harvested in early October then left in special drying rooms or on straw shelves in the winery roofs where they dry out. Moropio could never be called shy and retiring, it features powerful dark cherry fruits, licorice and a creamy oaky note.
