Glenturret rare Scotch whisky 700ml

Drawn from an American oak ex-Bourbon hogshead, this Glenturret rare Scotch whisky from Adelphi has an autumn gold colour with orange lights. Good beading, more mousse like - showing its age. Vivid butterscotch to start, fading through mild cheese, possibly cheese cloth or an old dairy, then eualyptus and sandalwood. Very old fashioned. Dampness in a traditional dunnage maturation warehouse. Very sweet to start, drying with more hessian and a mouth cooling eucalyptus. Water emphasises cream cheese and old warehouses. A remarkable rare old whisky.
