This eight hectare vineyard was planted by winemakers by Rod and Stacey Naish on the slopes of Omihi with both Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes in 1999. Fermented using wild yeasts and left on the skins for almost a month prior to pressing and tranferring to barrel gives this wines a Burgundian feel. It features lots of bright cherry fruit and subtle spices.
