With the Selfridges Celebration Service, we set up an account for any kind of celebration that you are having, be it be your wedding/birthday or the birth of your child, whatever the occasion this is the service for you. With two different options to the Celebration Service to choose from you are spoilt for choice. With both options we will provide you with pledge cards for you to give to your guests, which invites them to donate money to your account. Pledges are made over the telephone by debit or credit card.
14 days after your Celebration you account will be closed and we will add an extra 5% to your total amount as a gift from us to you. We will then send you via email a complete list of all contributors along with their special message.
The difference between the two options on offer is designed to make it even more convenient for you. Option 1 offers you the opportunity to simply contact us a minimum of 2 days prior to you coming into store to collect a gift card, and you can then spoil yourself in store whenever you want. Option 2 invites you to book a shopping day in store. This service is by appointment only and must be booked at least 14 days prior to your required date and is subject to availability.

We get literally thousands of requests each year and whilst we would like to help everyone, this just isn’t possible. However, we are very keen to support community based charities in Leicester, Manchester, Birmingham and London. Unfortunately, we cannot support charities outside these areas. If you wish to make a request, please write to the relevant store (see “A” for our address). Do allow up to 3 weeks for a reply – we generally try to reply to every request we receive.

Yes, in our London Store only, you can drop your coat and bags off at the reception of our Customer Services department on the Lower Ground floor, leaving your hands free to do more shopping. This service is free to customers who purchase in-store. For just £3 per customer we will look after your belongings to enable you to enjoy a hassle free visit to the store. All shopping must be claimed before the store closes. Terms and conditions apply, please see at Customer Services for more details. Please note bags will be subject to a search before they can be deposited and all belongings must be collected by the of the day on which they are left.

Access is available via automatic doors at the Edward Mews entrance at the rear of the store into our Food Hall. Many fitting rooms are accessible to wheelchair users as are most of our Restaurants. A wheelchair lift is available between the Food Hall and Stationery Levels on ground and to obtain access to our Wonder Bar in Wines & Spirits. Secure ramps are available to ease access around the floors where these are split level. Car Parking is available on Level 1 of the Car Park (see Car Park for access details) with a lift to all floors.
Manchester, Trafford
There are several easy access points to the store, two main entrances from the upper and lower mall leading from Peel Avenue and Regents Crescent. In addition, there are two parallel entrances from Regent's Crescent and Peel Avenue Car Park's Upper Levels. The entrance via the Fountain at the front of the store does not have automatic doors but is accessible from the lower level car parks and public transport. The store can be accessed easily from the Car Park
Manchester, Exchange Square
It is possible to access the store through a side entrance on Cross Street although our main entrance doors are generally open. All entrances are at Ground Floor level and easy to access. The store can be accessed easily from the Car Park in the basement by lift.
Birmingham
Access to the store is available in the Bullring Centre. If you are travelling by car there is a footbridge between the top level of the Moor Street Car Park and the store. The doors here, however, are not automatic. It is possible to access Level One, the Food Hall, and Levels Two and Three of the store from within the Bullring Centre itself. There are lifts to all floors.
Only dogs that are small enough to be carried in a small handbag whilst in store are allowed but not in our Food Hall or Restaurants. Registered guide dogs are also allowed.
Engraving is only available in Timpson’s on the Lower Ground Floor in our London store.

This Selfridges Gift Card can be used to purchase goods and services at any Selfridges store. Exclusions apply; this card may not be used in certain departments. It cannot be exchanged for cash, used for making online or mail-order purchases or used for making Selfridges account card payments.
The Selfridges Gift Card does not have an expiration date, however cards not used for more than 24 months will expire and the balance will be forfeited.
Take your Gift Card to any till point in any Selfridges store and a team member will be able to help you further. This facility can only be provided in person and cannot be completed by telephone.
Seasonal Hampers are available on-line via this website from October until Christmas each year. During the rest of the year simply call our Food Hall on 0800 123 400 (overseas callers +44 113 369 8040). We can only deliver non-perishable items such as jam, tea and wine. If you want fresh items to be included in your hamper then it is likely we will ask you to collect but we can prepare in advance of your collection – please give us at least 24 hours notice.
Prices will depend on the size of the hamper and the quantity of goods included.

As a rule, we deliver to anywhere in the UK Mainland or Northern Ireland (the delivery charge is dependant on the weight and size of the item). So long as your package is dispatched before 5pm (Monday to Friday) we will get you your goods within 2-3 working days.

During the first few days of our Summer and Winter Sale and during any promotional periods where we are exceptionally busy, mail order will not be available in some departments.

Our London Safe Deposit area has been in existence for over 80 years, providing storage facilities in a variety of sizes of safe deposit boxes. Each safe deposit box is operated by two keys and can only be accessed by the customer accompanied by a custodian. Our opening hours are Monday to Saturday 9.30am to 6pm. Selfridges currently runs two sales per year, one starts on Boxing Day and the other in the middle of Summer – exact dates are available nearer the time.
Selfridges do not have any plans to at the moment to open a new store. However we are continuing plans to further develop our Oxford Street and regional stores. We are introducing an exciting new Hotel on the back of the store (Edward Mews) due to open in 2010.
