The label's story began in 1830 when brothers Louis-Victor and Célestin Baume opened a shop in Les Bois. In 1918, Louis's grandson William joined forces with Paul Mercier and set up the maker you know and love today. Combining innovation and artistry is a key tenet of its ethos. In fact, the house's logo is the Greek letter phi, symbolising equilibrium, and you'll spot it on the dials of some of the Baume & Mercier watches in our curation.
