PIECES UNIQUES

Launched in France by young designer Edmond Luu, Pièces Uniques is known for its sculpted silhouette and contrasting geometric shapes. Having already piqued our interest as Art Director at Dior Parfums, Luu created his own brand to explore the idea of identity. The label’s pastel blues, creams and navy shades are used across its clothing range, drawing inspiration from elements of the natural world.

Small changes in traditional fabric cuts define the Pièces Uniques Selfridges collection, such as curved-edge collars and oversized cuffs. Added tailoring through layering and pleats allows for the simple to become distinctive. The label makes its branding impossible to miss in its outerwear, with large zip pulls showing off polished logo hardware.

Choose from stretch jogging bottoms and embroidered cotton hoodies for a comfortable day mix – or couple its nylon military trousers with a woven shirt, boasting fabric-fold detailing, in sandy and beige tones for a tailored finish. Asymmetric pockets across several pieces highlight the brand's signature style and provide well-thought-out storage options. Avant-garde style shines through the Pièces Uniques clothing range in its structured woven jackets and relaxed straight trousers with sharp creases. Luu’s non-traditional tailoring can be seen in everything from the cropped length of the label’s blazers to the boxy fit of its T-shirts.
