Chateau Cos d'Estournel is the leading producer in St Estephe, and sits on the border with Pauillac - indeed, some of the vineyards are actually in Pauillac, and this dark, powerful, brooding style of wine can certainly rival some of the famous names in the neighbouring appellation. This red is a blend of cabernet sauvignon and merlot grapes and offers a powerfully rich palate of wild berry fruits, oak, spiced and wafts of vanilla.
