Golden Goose became a hit with its pre-beat-up Superstar trainers (there’s a very certain pleasure to having kicks that are both scuffed-up and box-fresh at the same time). And the fact that this pair of Hi Stars is clean and bright is kind-of a meta-commentary on the brand’s whole thing. Or maybe we’re overthinking it: these kicks are made in Italy from smooth leather and finished with metallic details.
