When Sir Alexander Ramsay campaigned to license Scotch Whisky in 1824, he was soon granted one of the first certificates, and so,
Fettercairn distillery was born. To make bottles like the 28-year-old single malt, the brand doesn’t just use the crystal-clear waters from the foothills of Scotland's Cairngorms as an ingredient. It’s also used to cool the copper from the stills, which then increases condensation, so only the lighter vapours rise. Pretty impressive, right?
