Suntory’s Yamazaki was founded in Kyoko in 1923 by Shinjiro Torii and it was his son who, in later years, spearheaded the move into releasing single malts. And we couldn’t be more grateful. The cask series takes you on a journey through the Japanese Alps. This collection of four whiskies sees layers of fruit and spice running through the Puncheon, notes of dried fruits in the Spanish Oak, an incense-like character in the Mizunara and a smoky undertone in the Peated Malt. A liquid masterclass in Japanese refinement.
