Fed up with over-the-top packaging that comes with fresh produce and foliage, Saskia Tompsett set out to change the plant industry. Her label,
Canopy Plants, opts for 100% recyclable packaging made from paper and cardboard sourced from sustainably managed forests, and houses this Calathea Leopardina in a ceramic pot. Part of the Marantaceae prayer plant family, it grows on the forest floor in the wild, and so prefers dappled light and being misted.
