The allure of the Alps and the bird of prey that swoops over its peaks are what inspired Karl-Friedrich Scheufele to create the St Moritz timepiece in 1980. Chopard pieces together the Alpine Eagle in its homage from 18-carat rose-gold and Lucent steel A223: a material with ultra-durable light-reflecting properties and specifically developed for this watch. Fitted with a glare-proof sapphire crystal glass face encircled by diamonds protecting the mother-of-pearl dial, it’s a style to slip on whether you’re hiking through mountainous terrain or digging into lunch back at base camp.
