Designed in Montreal, Nicole Benisti’s eponymous brand stands out for its oversized silhouettes and cool, sleek details – the kind of coats that make the outfit, rather than mask it.

 

The coat always needs to be the statement. From strong plays on colour contrasts to mixed-media fabrications, I get inspired by what the ‘It’ girls are wearing and find ways to translate what’s cool about their style into outerwear.
