Dark chocolate shortbread 65g

If you’ve ever wondered where to find the best traditional treats and snacks that France has to offer, Albert Ménès might just be the destination. Handmade in Lorient in Brittany, these shortbread biscuits – or Petits-Beurre in French – use an original recipe first developed in the 19th century, and they haven’t changed much since. Buttery and crumbly at the base, the sharp dark chocolate on top keeps them strong enough to dunk into your tea (psst: they’re even better melted).

Ingredients
Soft wheat flour, dark chocolate 25% (cocoa bean, sugar, cocoa butter, emulsifiers (soya lecithin and E 476), Brittany fresh churned butter 21%, sugar, extra fresh whole eggs, milk powder, Guerande sea salt, raising agent (disodium diphosphate, sodium hydrogen carbonate), hazelnut natural flavour.
