Since its debut in the Maison Margiela SS18 show, the Glam Slam bag has been a firm favourite from the French label. Crafted from supple leather, this tote style is cloaked in an all-over quilted design which mimics matelassé (the style of hand-stitched quilts originally created in Marseille, FYI). Wanting to reflect the brand’s notion of unconscious glamour whilst ensuring practicality is still a priority, Creative Director John Galliano finishes the design with a detachable shoulder strap along with twin top handles.
