Balvenie lies at the very heart of Speyside, in the Scottish Highlands. In early 1892 work began to convert an 18th century mansion, Balvenie New House, into a distillery. The third release from the Balvenie Stories range, The Edge of Burnhead Wood single malt whisky celebrates Speyside’s winding paths and hills that lead to heather moors. In fact, heather grown on the Dufftown estate was used in its creation, imparting the amber liquid with honeyed citrus and fresh herbal notes.
