Situated at an altitude of 250 metres, the grapes that are blended to create the Mother Rock white by (would you guess it?) Mother Rock Wines is sourced from five different locations in South Africa’s Swartland region. Organically farmed, the Chenin Blanc, Viognier, Grenache Blanc, Semillon and Harslevelu that are blended to create this 2018 vintage are picked by hand early in the morning and then fermented with natural yeast. Suitable for vegans, it’s blended and bottled without filtration.
